What isn't so great about Google Wave?

Doesn't Google already have documents that can be edited collaboratively? Why do we need yet another application to do the same thing?

Google Wave is on an invite only basis, what's the time-frame for people to catch onto the site? Is there a specific window that might pass and Google Wave might not catch fire as expected?

People need to be quite specific when sharing wave name, as changing just one letter will nullify any search results.

What is the real-world usability of a device that's catered towards the more technologically proficient of the population? How can we have real time discussions with people who can't even log onto the site, much less share a poll or properly edit a document?

What's the security with regards to spam and how will that information get filtered before it reaches a user's Google Wave platform?

Yet, there are many advantages to using Google Wave.
